Collection: Garden Quartz Crystals & Specimens | The Old and Curious

Few natural history specimens invite closer inspection quite like Garden Quartz. Each crystal contains a miniature world of mineral inclusions—delicate clouds, moss-like formations and layered landscapes preserved within clear or softly coloured quartz.

Sometimes known as Lodolite, Garden Quartz forms when minerals such as chlorite, iron oxides and clays become enclosed as the quartz crystal grows. These inclusions can resemble forests, gardens, mountains or underwater scenes, making every specimen completely unique.

Highly prized by collectors, Garden Quartz combines the beauty of natural quartz with a visible record of the geological conditions in which it formed. From subtle wisps of colour to dramatic three-dimensional scenes, no two crystals tell quite the same story.

Our Garden Quartz specimens are individually selected for their character, clarity, inclusions and display appeal—distinctive pieces of natural history for collectors drawn to the rare, ancient and extraordinary.
