Sarracenia Rubra, an exceptionally robust carnivorous plant, thrives vigorously in the UK climate. This unknown subspecies is prized for its strong growth and resilience, making it an ideal choice for enthusiasts seeking a hardy pitcher plant that effectively captures insects while adding unique botanical interest to their collection and garden.
Sent out in 7cm square pots they will be established in the pots for at least a season before being sent out. Mostly moving forward they will be repotted in co coir and perlite, rather than Peat for ecological reasons. They have been grown outside, only having fleece for protection during the harshest frosts over the last few years, with the aim to produce hardier plants for our customers.
