Drosera Capensis, commonly known as the Cape Sundew, is a hardy carnivorous plant native to South Africa. Grown outdoors to enhance its resilience, this species thrives in natural conditions, making it an excellent choice for enthusiasts seeking a robust and low-maintenance sundew. Its sticky, glandular leaves efficiently trap insects, providing essential nutrients that support vigorous growth. Ideal for collectors and experts, this plant combines striking appearance with reliable outdoor hardiness. Can be grown indoors over winter to protect from harsh frosts.

Sent out in 7cm square pots they will be established in the pots for at least a season before being sent out. Mostly moving forward they will be repotted in co coir and perlite, rather than Peat for ecological reasons. They have been grown outside, only having fleece for protection during the harshest frosts over the last few years, with the aim to produce hardier plants for our customers.
